The varsity basketball
team coached by Mr. Ken Kline compilied a winning record of 13 wins and 11 losses for the year. This year's seniors are Pat
Flannery, who had over 1300 points for his career: Bob Carter, and Paul Davis.
The Tide had a poor home record, losing 8 of its 12 games. However, they held thier own on the
road by defeating 9 of their 12 opponents. This year's team finished second in thier third Annual Christmas Tournament, dropping
a 74-61 loss to Cedar Crest. The Tide advanced into District XI Playoffs, but because of the loss of most of its senior players
and the inexperience of underclassmen, they failed to advance past their second game, losing to top-seeded Northampton by
a score of 75-61.
With the return of many fine underclassmen,
Coach Kline can look forward to a very promising 1976-1977 season.
